Expendi was conceived to address a growing challenge in modern digital finance: users are expected to manage spending, savings, and crypto assets across fragmented tools while maintaining discipline and clarity. Traditional budgeting apps are reactive and manual, while most crypto platforms focus on trading rather than everyday financial management. This leaves users juggling multiple apps, tracking expenses, and struggling to stay in control of their money in real time.

We translated everyday financial habits into simple, programmable rules users can set in minutes. By introducing pockets with smart contracts running under the hood, we turned budgets into systems that enforce themselves. Automation handles recurring payments, savings, and allocations in the background. This shifts money management from manual tracking to a proactive, self-running experience.
Savings & Investment System
The system was built to support discipline, not force it. Key design decisions focused on simplicity over complexity, guided plan selection over open-ended setup, and automation over manual effort. By embedding rules, timelines, and smart triggers directly into each plan, Expendi reduces the need for constant user intervention allowing savings and investments to run in the background while users stay in control.
We designed the savings and investment experience by starting with how people naturally think about money which is saving for goals, setting aside funds, and trying to grow what’s left. Instead of introducing complex financial tools, we translated these behaviors into simple, structured plans like flexible, fixed, goal-based, and automated savings. Early concepts were refined through iterations to ensure clarity, ease of setup, and alignment with real user intent.
Landing Page (Mobile Responsive)
We designed the Expendi landing page by first understanding how users evaluate financial tools i.e what they need to trust the product, how quickly they grasp value, and what drives them to take action. Early wireframes focused on clear messaging, simple structure, and strong visual hierarchy. Through iterations, we refined the flow to highlight core benefits, key features, and real use cases in a way that feels intuitive and easy to scan.
The landing page was built to communicate value instantly and guide users toward action without friction. Key design decisions emphasized clarity over complexity, progressive disclosure over information overload, and consistent messaging across sections. By structuring the page to move from value → features → proof → trust → action, users can quickly understand what Expendi does, why it matters, and confidently take the next step.
Expendi demonstrates how thoughtful design can bridge programmable finance with everyday money management. By combining automated budgeting, smart savings systems, and seamless crypto integrations, the product empowers users to make more intentional financial decisions with less effort. Iterative design and user-focused thinking shaped key features around clarity, control, and automation, resulting in a product that transforms how users manage, spend, and grow their digital assets in real time.
